Now that we’ve been living in Oregon for two months, it’s time for the official apartment tour. I love, love, love seeing people’s homes. That’s why I love Louisville’s Homerama extravaganza, my “For the Home” pinboard, all home and garden magazines, and, honestly, MTV Cribs. While our apartment is far less exciting than any of those, I’m excited to share it with you. I’ve been trying to wait until we got everything put away and organized, but I’m not sure that will ever actually happen. Let’s just pretend that I didn’t move random things all around the apartment to get them out of camera view.
First off, our guest bedroom. It’s ready for visitors! I’m looking at you, Pugels and Campbells.
Then the master bedroom, which has two big windows that let in that much loved sunlight!
And the least exciting portion of any apartment: the bathroom.
The living room, which is still very much a work in progress as far as decor goes.
Eric really wanted a desk of some sort, but our space was a little limited. We found this handy little fold out table at Ikea that we can use as a desk and then fold up when we have company! And honestly, we haven’t used our regular kitchen table since we brought this thing home. It’s just too easy to watch TV and dine at the same time.
And now for our kitchen, which houses the best appliance in the world: the dishwasher.
What you can’t see is that there’s a nice big photo of Schmidt on the side of our fridge, watching over us as we cook.
And then there’s the deck, which has yet to really be used, as it’s very cold outside.
And that’s the Oregon apartment!
