August was a busy month. Eric started his big-boy-masters-degree-required job in Portland. I stayed in Eugene and wrapped up my nannying job, while packing up our apartment for our big, never-ending move. And I spent as much time as possible soaking up the glorious running and biking trails in Eugene.
Eric came home on the weekends, and we gorged ourselves on Eugene’s finest cuisine. And by “finest cuisine,” I obviously mean “tacos.”
I stopped at Skinner’s Butte on the way out of town to take a last look at Eugene on moving day. We’ll miss that crazy little town.
We’re staying with a friend in the suburbs of Portland until our apartment is ready, so we’re enjoying eating, exploring, running, and cycling in a new place.
